Automatic update of projects

Auto update of projects works only for projects that were downloaded on a panel from the cloud.

Setting Auto Update of Projects

1 Download a sample project.

2 Merge the example with your panel project.

An additional page with a button will appear in the project, when the button is pressed, auto update of a project is activated.

Operation Principles

When the button is pressed in the example, the AutoUpdate() function is called:

The function calls the following methods:

• IR.SetStatusAutoUpdateProjects (true) - turning on auto update of a project;
• IR.Exit() -closing the app.

After the Auto Update parameter is activated, the project must be restated to synchronize the changes with the cloud. The IR.Exit() method closes the app automatically, and the app must be started manually.

The IR.SetStatusAutoUpdateProjects() method does not mean a one-time update. When the true value is sent to the method, you agree to update the project. With active Auto Update a project synchronized with the cloud once a day or when the app is started.
