Autoresolution of projects

automatic selection of a project for the resolution of a user's device

If there are several control panels with different screen resolutions, a separate project must be created for each resolution. For example, a user has a tablet with 2048×1536 resolution and a smart phone with 1920x1080 resolution and he'll use them to control his automation project. The system of intellectual project delivery makes it easier for a customer to download the correct project.

Subsystem of intellectual project delivery

When a user's device requests a project it send to the cloud its type (a tablet or a smartphone) and resolution. The cloud starts searching for a project to fit the parameters. If there is such a project, a user downloads this project. If a suitable project is not found, a user downloads a project that is marked as a "default project". Thus, it's up to an integrator to think what devices will most likely be used by customer and create projects for these resolutions. When projects are uploaded to the cloud, resolution of each project must be indicated and one project must be marked as a "default project". When a project is set, several resolutions can be selected and the system allows to use this project on devices with different resolutions on condidition that the aspect ratio is the same. In this case a project is stretched to the resolution of this device and is displayed on a user's device without any difficulties.

Uniting projects in tags and its settings in the cloud

1 Authorize in My accout at web-site.
2 Go to the pro/my projects tab and create a new object or open the one you have already.
3 Put a tick in the Group projects by tags in i3pro checkbox

4 Go to the Projects section and upload projects for all resolutions.

5 Select one of the projects to be a "default project", it will be downloaded, if the cloud does not find a project suitable for a device. To do it, put a tick in the Default checkbox.

6 After it assign identical tags to all projects and indicated the resolutions and the device they are made for.

7 Use a trial or commercail license
8 Share the projects with an end-user
After a user logs in with this login and password in i3 pro app, the cloud automatically selects a project for this device and downloads it.
