Manual for creating projects in i3 lite
In this manual you will learn how to create a project in i3 lite to control equipment through HDL IntelliCenter2 / UMC C3 / UMC C4.
In the project the following equipment is used:
Set up routines to control music in Sonos player from DLP buttons of HDL panel.
Install a current version of i3 lite app.
iRidium lite app is available for the following platforms:
To work in the app you must be a registered user. If you do not have an account on our website, follow this link and register as an installer.
The window where you get first of all is called “Config”.
Attention! Make sure, that you use an actual version of the app. Look at the app version in “Config”. To learn an actual version, look here on our website

Open iRidium store and search “HDL Interface”. Choose the module.
In HDL Interface module click in the right upper corner to add HDL device. Click “Add Manually”, to add a device manually. Select Relay in the list and enter settings.

Open iRidium store. Search “HDL DLP Panel” and select HDL DLP Panel (AC, FH).
Here is the detailed information how to add and set KNX Interface module.
In KNX Interface module click in the right upper corner to add KNX device. Click “Add Manually”, to add a device manually. Select Relay in the list and enter the settings.
Select its location.
In “Devices” tab we see, that there are 6 modules in the project.
You can get detailed information about devices in “General” tab, “Project report” section.
If you click “More”, you will see the detailed report about each device.
There are commercial and free devices. They are different. Free devices are not limited by a license. Your license counts only commercial subdevices.
Let’s have a look how to set up Sonos player by clicking HDL button. Let’s take simple actions - turning on and off. Interaction is implemented through logic routines. Most of the routines are created to use on the server, as they work on the server, when the server is on, even if the app is off. A local routine works on panels as long as i3 lite app is launched.
WHEN - select the required button on HDL panel and choose “Press” event.
DO - select Sonos player and choose “Play” event.

DO - select Sonos player and choose “Stop” event.
Click “Three dots” button in the right upper corner, and select “Room Editor”
Select “Add Header” in “Room Editor” and enter the name.
Select “Add Photo” in “Room Editor” and choose the required image.
Select “Add column break”. Columns breaks are not seen in the usual mode, but it allows to drag and drop items to another column.
Select “Edit mode” in “Room Editor”. With this button clicked, you can drag and drop widgets.
