how iRidium server gets access to iNELS RF wireless network
documentation was last updated on 12.9.2018
iNELS RF wireless network includes the following system components:
The series of iNELS RF devices also includes relays, switches, dimmers, thermostats, leakage sensors, electricity meters, remotes, etc.
Use eLAN-RF gateways to integrate iNELS RF devices and iRidium.
1 Enter the web-interface of eLAN-RF gateway, using admin login and elkoep password by default.
The gate gets the dynamic IP address by default, that's why a router with an activated function of DHCP server is required for the device to get an address.
2 Click the gear icon for setting.
3 Click "+" to add a new wireless device to the network. Supply power to the device (line supply or from batteries depending on the type).
4 Set the device parameters. Click the Create button.
5 Click "+"to add a new room. Set the room parameters (any).
6 Click Continue. Go to the Devices tab and click on the added device to add its icon to the created room. Click Create.
7 Point a cursor to the icon of a device and a popup must appear. Remember the number - the address assigned to the device.
8 You can add all devices to the iNELS RF wireless network this way. If everything is set correctly, you can control wireless devices directly from the web-interface and get data from the devices.
Pay attention also to the other settings, such as the frequency of the radio signal.
1 Create a panel or a server project
2 Add iNels RF Network (TCP) driver to the project. Set the driver.
3 Add a device from the list. Set the Address parameter of the device - it's the address, assigned earlier when configuring the network in the web-interface of eLAN-RF gateway.
4 All devices of the wireless network are added and set this way. Each device has its own individual address.
Set control of wireless devices with the help of commands and feedback.
Below you can find information about commands and feedback of iNELS RF Control devices.
A project for a control panel can be launched in the Emulator.
A project for the server can be launched on iRidium server for Windows using iRidium transfer.
