Floors and rooms

"Floors and Rooms" - it's a section of i3 lite config that contains a list of floors and rooms of an automation project.

iRidium lite

"Floors and Rooms" tab - it's a list of floors and rooms that are the basis of a project to control devices in a group. Separate control of floors and rooms allows to create more confortable control for an end-user.

The section may contain widgets to display on the main page. A widget can be a weather informer or it can display information from a sensor.

Floors

A required number of floors is creaated in this tab. Light, climate, ventilaton of the whole floor can be controlled and created routines will be applied to a group of rooms.

• Name - the name of a floor.
• Icon - a simbol to recognize a floor.

Rooms

Each room in a building or an apartment can be displayed in a project and more detailed automation system can be created. For a children room you can set turning off all electricity. Or you can set a ventilation system to keep a required humidity level. Control of audio system can be set and the volume of sound can be automtically increased in the room you are in. Blinds and shutters can be set towork depending on the location and time of day.

• Name - the name of a room.
• Icon - a simbol to recognize a room.
• Floor - a floor where a room is located.

Adding Floors and Rooms to Project

To begin with create a floor and add two rooms to it. It is done with the help of “Add floors and rooms” or with the help of the plus button in the top right corner.

Press .

Select “First floor”.

To add a room select it in the list or enter its name in the line.

There is now one floor and one room in the project. Later on you can add more floors and rooms.

Widget of Statuses

Widget of statuses is an information item. iRidium mobile developed a weather informer that can be displayed on the main page. Data from sensors can also be displayed on the main page together with a weather informer or separatelly from it.

A widget can be added by pressing "Add Item" button. A menu apprears.

• Status - data coming from sensors. You can press it and see a list of available sensors.
• Weather - a weather informer. You can press it and see a menu:
  • Weather for a day
  • Weather for a week

Visual display of selected information can be seen at once in the "Floors and Rooms" setting window.

Several widgets can be added. Their list can be seen below the preview of the widget.

The informer and information from sensors can be deleted from the diplay by pressing the edit button in the top right corner.

The menu becomes available for editing and you can delete required items.

Setting Weather Informer

A weather informer is a device and it is available for editing in the Devices tab, its name is Weather.

Press the gear icon in the top right corner to open a setting with town selection.

Enter the name of a town and press "+". Select "Open Weather Map" in the menu that appears.

Select a required town (a tick appears on the left). To delete a town, press the red icon (on the right).
