iRidium server lite
Using a server to add functions to i3 lite projects
iRidium lite
i3 lite support ends on December 31, 2025.
Capabilities of iRidium Server lite
- Automation 24 hours a day.
It collects and analyzes data non-stop, keeps track of routines and events that trigger set routines, sends commands and gets data from equipment.
All commands from control panels to devices are sent via the server.
The server allows to control an automation object outside the local network. Panels interact with a server via a protected protocol. The cloud server does not store data that goes through it and it does not know personal information about devices that work with it.
It allows to control smart home with the help of voice assistants Amazon Alexa or Google Home.
- Processing data from astronomical timer.
It calculates the sun angle on the basis of set coordinates, that allows to do certain actions at sunrise, noon, sunset or at the moment the sun crosses a definite angle.
- Sending notifications, Push-notifications.
It sends set information and alert messages to the log journal and push-notifications to end-users's panels.
- It enlarges control capabilities for several panels.
Very often equipment supports only one connection, for example, Global Caché, Marantz, Beckhoff. Use of server allows any number of panels to control this equipment.
- Hardware and server realization.
iRidium server has hardware realization (iRidium UMC, RPI, NUC) and there is also software realization (for Windows). Software realization can be downloaded from our web-site and used in large projects or in a showroom.
- Server reduces workload of a panel and controls all work itself.
Server is responsible for controlling a project, it processing all incoming data and sends commands to equipment. If there is no server in a project all work is done by a panel - it sends and gets data in the local network.
- Name - the name of a server.
- Internal Host - local IP-address of a server
- Port - connection port to the server.
- 'Version - the version of server software
- Network - network settings.
- Update - server update:
- Auto update - automatic update of a server.
- Set time - set time for updates.
- 'Date and Time - settings of server date and time.
- Maintenance - maintenance:
- Test Mode() - it turns on/off Test Mode of a server;
- Disconnect - it turns off a server.
- Work mode - it defines if a server can be controlled form an external IP-address:
- Local and External - work with local and external IP-address;
- Local only - it turns on a mode of work only in the local network;
- External only - it turns on a mode or work only with external IP.
