iRidium for Intesis
a set of tools to create control interfaces for equipment in the Intesis bus.
the documentation is updated 23.8.2021
Description
iRidium for Intesis is a set of tools that allow to create an interface to control Intesis climate equipment.
The driver works with gateways from the Home Automation group of interfaces. A full list of equipment is available on the official website.
Connection
To set equipment, download the Intesis MAPS app via this link and do the following:
1 Start the Intesis MAPS app and go to the Home Automation tab (Start > Create New Project > Home Automation);
2 Choose the Panasonic protocol (Device Protocol > Panasonic);
3 Go to the General tab and enter the name of the gateway, connection settings and a password;
4 Up to 64 conditioners can be connected to each Panasonic line. Add conditioners with the help of a built-in scanner or mannually;
5 To connect to equipment, go to the Connection tab and choose one of the available gateways (a built-in scanner finds all available gateways). Data for the first entry will already be in;
If the data were changed by another user, they won't be displayed on the screen.
6 Configurations (projects) are uploaded to the Intesis gateway from the Receive/Send tab.
Work in iRidium
Create a new project and add the Intesis Network driver to it from the DEVICES tab.
Setting Driver
Enter the driver connection settings:
- Log Level - the level of logging;
- Host - IP-address of the gateway;
- Port - connection port (by default 3310);
- Login / Password - a login and a password to access equipment;
- SSL - type of encrypting;
- Keep Alive - time to hold connection in miliseconds;
- Send Interval (ms) - frequency of sending requests in miliseconds;
- Wait Time (ms) - time to wait for an asnwer to a request in miliseconds;
- Driver Version - a version of the driver.
Setting Devices
When a driver is added, one Custom device is formed by default with a full list of commands and feedback channels. The device can be renamed and addictional devices can be added, if it is required. Click left mouse button on the added Intesis Network driver and choose Add subdevice to add an additional device.
Click on the device and enter its settings:
- Name - the name of a device;
- Driver Type - the type of a driver;
- Unit ID - device ID in the bus;
- Device Type - Custom Unit.
Commands & Feedbacks
All commands and feedback channels have preconfigured settings. If it is required you can change, add or delete a command / a feedback channel.
