iRidium for Legrand Netatmo
A set of tools for creating interfaces to control Legrand equipment (smart sockets, heaters, dimmers etc.).
The documentation was updated on 09.1.2024
The driver is available from 1.3.60 version
Description
Based on the Legrand electrical installation products of the Celiane, Valena Life and Valena Allure series, Netatmo has released a number of components for smart home integration.
This product is ideal for those who really want to implement a smart home, but really don’t want to renovate it again: strip walls and ceilings, install additional cables and control wires, redo electrical wiring. In general, this product is for those who wants to control sockets, switchers and electrical appliances in a half an hour after purchasing a starter kit and not to experience the renovation again. Wireless switchers allows you to install them where previously it was technically impossible without without laying wires or cable channels in the walls.

Work in iRidium
Create a new project and add the Legrand Netatmo driver to it with the help of a scanner or entering data manually.
Importing devices
The main logic of working with the driver is connected with import - the list of devices and their settings are uploaded via import.
You can import devices from JSON file. To get the file do the following steps:
1 Create a server project with the Legrand Netatmo driver.
2 Go to the personal account at iRidi.com website and upload a project to the cloud.
3 Launch a server and download the previously uploaded project from the cloud.
4 Go to Services Page and authorize with iRidi account.
5 Choose i3Pro in the Please choose a product field.
6 Press Connect in the Netatmo section and authorize with an account to which Netatmo devices are assigned.
7 Allow access to Netatmo account for iRidi.
8 Select an object with a previously uploaded project in the Please, choose an i3pro object field, press Link.
9 Enter the device name in the Device name field in the Link setting window, press the Link object "NameObject" with Netatmo button.
10 Press the Download json for iRidi Studio button and save the file.
11 Go to iRidi Studio and press the Scanner / Import > Legrand Netatmo Import button in the Devices tab, choose the previously created json file. A driver with all found devices in the manufacturer's cloud will be added to the project.
You can delete the Legrand Netatmo driver which was used to get the json file.
Setting a driver
- Protocol - TCP;
- Log Level - the level of logging;
- Keep Alive - an interval to check TCP connection. In case there is no answer to Keep Alive request, the driver will be forced into the off state;
- Token - a unique identifier that Legrand Netatmo cloud gives after linking with a server;
- Home ID - ID of the house with the assigned equipment. Legrand Netatmo cloud gives this ID after linking with a server;
- Driver Version - a version of the driver.
Setting subdevices
- Product - type of the device (Power / Lighting / Scenario);
- Product Type - type of the product:
- Power: NLP / NLPM / NLPS / NLPT;
- Lighting: NLF / NLFN / NLM / NLL;
- Scenario: NLT / NLDP;
- Gateway - ID of the gateway which is linked with a device;
- Bridge ID - additional ID required to form a request.
Setting commands and feedback channels
To control equipment it is required to set commands (Commands) and feedback channels (Feedbacks). To send a command, drag'n'drop it on a graphic item and enter a value to send. To display feedback drag'n'drop a feedback channel on a graphic item and choose how to output a value.
Read more about work with graphic items in the
"Types of graphic items" article.
