Registration in iRidium lite

First step of work with iRidium lite. Registration and selecting a type of account.

iRidium lite

i3 lite support ends on December 31, 2025.

You can register on the web-site http://iridi.com or in the i3 lite app.

When you register in iRidium lite, select a type of account. This video and section of the article about types of accounts will help you.

After you select the type of account, you can start registration.

Types of Accounts

Two types of users can create projects in iRidium lite:

1. Installers create projects to sell them;
2. DIY-users create projects for themselves.

Each of the two types of accounts have their differences in license price, testing limitations and sharing a project.

Installer Account

An installer creates a project to sell it to a user. He has special prices.

To protect data about special prices for installers, all registration are approved manually.

How registrations are approved.

Within 24 hours after registration you'll get a letter from @iridiummmobile.ru asking you about a conveninent time for a phone call to ask you a few questions. If you register at the weeked, you'll get a letter on Monday. A phone call will take you about 10 minutes. After it you'll have access to special dealer prices.

If a user's answers do not agree with an installer account, he'll have a DIY-user account.

Here is a list of installer capabilities in iRidium lite:

1. He has a discount to buy a license and he sells a license at a retail price. The discount is determined by the sum of purchases made during a year.
2. The time of project creation is not limited. A license is not requires to download a project to a panel to test.
3. After a project is uploaded to the cloud, it is available to all other devices of an installer.
4. iRidium server can be used before buying a license.

After logic is set and a project is tested, an installer sends a registration letter to an end-user. A license is bought only if a user agrees to use the app.

DIY-user Account

He creates a project for his own use and has testing limits. But this type of account does not required approval. He unites the roles of an installer and an end-user.

1. Since the moment a project is started, a DIY-user has 14 days to test the project without iRidium server lite.
2. To save a project in the cloud and download it on other panels a license is required.
3. In projects with iRidium server a DIY-user has to buy a server. A server is sold with a license.
4. A new user can't be added without buying a license.

Type of Account when Using a Project

When a project is used you can be one of the following users:

• DIY. After licensing he has full access to editing a project, setting routines and schedules. He can add a new user any time and change access rights to some sections;
• End-user (customer). He has access to editing sections defined by an installer or a DIY-user. An end-user can't change access rights. To change access rights, he must ask an installer or a DIY-user about it.

Registration

Below is the description of the registration process in i3 lite app. The registration process is different for DIY-users and installers.

1 After i3 lite app is launched a window appear. Press "Registration" there.

2 Fill in data for your account.

• Name - your full name.
• e-mail - e-mail is required to confirm registration, to restore a password, to get information letters.
• Password - a password of your account

3 Select a type of account: "Installer" or "DIY".

4 Enter an invitation code, if you have it. If you don't have an invitation code, press "Continue".

Invitation code is not compulsory!

5 Enter a code that is sent to your e-mail to verify the e-mail.

6 Congratulatuions! You are registered and now you can create your own project. After pressing OK button, information about i3 lite capabilities is shown. Look through it, by pressing the Next button. You can skip the introductory information and start creating a project at once by pressing Skip.

Installer registration

1 After i3 lite app is launched a window appear. Press "Registration" there.

2 Fill in data for your account.

• Name - your full name.
• e-mail - e-mail is required to confirm registration, to restore a password, to get information letters.
• Password - a password of your account

3 Select a type of account: "Installer" or "DIY".

4 Fill in information about the region you live in, your company's website, your phone number and an invitation code if you have it.

Invitation code is not compulsory!

5 Select equipment manufacturers you prefer to work with.

6 Enter a code that is sent to your e-mail to verify the e-mail.

7 Congratulatuions! You are registered and now you can create your own project. After pressing OK button, information about i3 lite capabilities is shown. Look through it, by pressing the Next button. You can skip the introductory information and start creating a project at once by pressing Skip.
