Attention!
On March 1, 2021 Yahoo stops free access to API (read more detailed information at
website). For your projects to continue working with a free access to weather services, replace a script in the
Yahoo Weather module with a new one that works with OpenWeatherMap.
Description
OpenWeatherMap is an on-line service that provides API to access data about current weather, forecasts and history data. The sources of data are official meteorological services, data from airport weather stations and data from private weather stations.
Data are processed by OpenWeatherMap, after it weather forecasts, weather maps, for example, cloud or precipitation maps are made up. The main idea of OWM service is the use of private weather stations that allow to increase the accuracy of weather data, and thus the accuracy of weather forecasts.
Integration with JS module Weather

3.2 Follow this link. Your free keys are stored here with a capability to generate new keys.
It's recommended to use a new key for each object ad free API supports 1000 requests per day for one key.

After downloading a graphic interface with a preset Weather module, it's necessary to replace the script of the module with the following one:
- Consumers -a script for graphic interfaces from the website (except Flex);
- Flex - a script for Flex 2 in 1 interface.
Openweather does not support all functions that were present in Yahoo Weather:
- Yahoo gave 2 types of icons - a minimalistic one and an icon for the background. OpenWeatherMap gives only one type of icons - a minimalistic one;
- Yahoo returned the Rising tag, Openweather does not have it, the script hides all items that showed this tag.
