    Setting Bas IP video intercom panels

    Depending on the model of a video intercom and the version of the firmware settings can differ greatly. You can learn about all capabilities of a call panel in the official manual.

    1 Download Remote_Upgrade_Tool from the official website. After launch the software displays information about the IP-address of the device

    If you can't set the IP-address or the device is in another subnetwork, everything can be set form the video intercom panel. You can read more about setting on Bus IP official website.

    2 Enter the IP-address of the panel in the address line of a browser. There will appear a window to enter a user name and a password.

    Administrator has full access to all settings of a panel

    Manager has access to panel settings but access to ACS menu is limited. Such assess if is given to installation companies to install and set the system.

    Default values:

    • Administrator: admin - 123456;
    • Manager: manager - 1234.

    3 Set the IP-address of the video intercom panel as it is required for the network of your SIP system.

    Bas IP 2.png
    • DHCP - turning on/off the mode of getting network settings automatically;
    • IP: - IP-address of the call panel;

    Call panel can have a static IP-address by default 192.168.1.90 or 192.168.1.91;

    • Mask - subnetwork mask;
    • Gateway - the main gateway;
    • DNS - DNS address of the server.

    4 Set the address of the panel.

    Bas IP 3.png
    Bas IP 4.png
    • Mode - selection of the work more of the panel:
      • When "Wall" mode is selected, to call a required panel, enter 4 digits of the building number, 2 digits of the house section number, 2 digits of the floor number and 2 digits of the apartment number;
      • When "Unit" mode is selected, to call a required panel it's enough to enter 2 digits of the floor number and 2 digits of the apartment number.
    • Building - the number of the building;
    • Unit - the number of the house section;
    • Device number - the ordinal number of the call panel.

    If you have several call panels that have one logical address enter values 2, 3, 4, 5 up to 9 in the "Device number" field.

    • "NO UNIT" function is available in the global mode. It's required to call a panel without entering the number of the house section.

    For this function to work, enter "0" inthe house section field in all panels.

    5 Enter access parameters to the external SIP-server:

    Bas IP 5.png
    • Enable / Disable - turning on/off SIP registration;
    • Proxy - proxy of SIP server, that can be an IP-address or a domain name;

    Enter "sip:" before the proxy address

    • Realm - address of SIP server, that can be an IP-address or a domain name;
    • STUN IP - address of STUN server;
    • STUN port - port of STUN server (for example port 19302 is used for Google STUN server);
    • User - SIP number (login);
    • Password - password to SIP number.

    6 Set device parameters:

    Bas IP 6.png
    • Video quality - selection of preferred video resolution;
    • RTP data profile - выбор предпочитаемого профиля данных RTP;
    • Volume level - regulation of the level volume of the loudspeaker;
    • RTSP Username - login to access RTSP stream of the panel;
    • RTSP password - password to access RTSP stream of the panel;
    • Proximity sensor: turning on/off IR proximity sensor. When motion is detected within 50 centimetres from the panel, the panel can light the keyboard, the display or activate face recognition function.

    7 Set forwarding.

    This section is used to substitute numbers with the means of a panel during calls that come to indoor monitors when there is no monitor or it is off or to a set SIP number.

    Bas IP 7.png
    • Mode - selection of mode to forward calls:
      • All at once - a call will be made to all numbers at once;
      • One by one - calls to numbers one after another with a 20-second interval.
    • New forward:
      • Apartment number: a number that is entered on the panel keyboard;
      • Forward number: where a call will be forwarded when a corresponding number is dialed on the panel keyboard. It can be used for calls inside the network via P2P and via SIP protocol.
    Bas IP 8.png

    To set a call from the intercom to a panel. it's required to create forwarding and set in it the apartment number of SIP-subscriber that has been set earlier.

    8 Enter ACS parameters.

    This menu contains general parameters of access control system, access rules and identificators.

    Bas IP 9.png
    • Master card - card code;
    • Master code - a code to open the door;
    • Lock #1, Lock #2:
      • Lock open time (sec): time during which relay contacts of the panel will be closed or opened;
      • Lock open delay (sec): time after which relay contacts of a panel will be closed of opened

    (delay before opening).

    Lock 2 will always send "Door is open" signal, it is caused by the fact that additional SH-4 module must be added to control 2 locks. Without this module, only lock 1 works but lock 2 gives a sound signal.

    9 Create a link to RTSP stream.

    Bas IP 10.png

    To send RTSP stream fro the camera of the call panel to the video surveillance system, write the following in the "Additional" tab in the line to add a camera rtsp://user:1234abcd@192.168.1.16:8554/ch01, where

    • user - login;
    • 1234abcd - password to WEB-interface;
    • 192.168.1.16 - IP address of the panel;
    • 8554 - port to access the camera;
    • ch01 - the number of a channel.

    Login and password are set in "Device settings" ("Panel" tab).

    Working in iRidium studio

    1 Create a panel project.
    2 Add SIP driver and set it.

    4 Add the following script to the project:

    outdoor_station_number = "0101010100"; // topological code of IPerVoice panel
    var SIP = IR.GetDevice("SIP"); // name of SIP driver
    var action = "CALL"; // default action
    ButtonAction = IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button_action");
    LabelName = IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Label_name");
    LabelNumber = IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Label_number");
    SwitchVideo = IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Switch_video");

    IR.AddListener(IR.EVENT_START,0,function()
    {
      // display the SIP video
      IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Video").GetState(0).Image = "sip_image://";
    });

    IR.AddListener(IR.EVENT_TAG_CHANGE, SIP, function(name, value) {
      if (name == "STATUS") {
        var flagReady = (value == "On Hook..." || value == "Incoming Call...");
        ButtonAction.Enable = flagReady;
        var flagTalk = (value == "Talking...");
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button_door").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button1").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button2").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button3").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button4").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button5").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button6").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button7").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button8").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button9").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button0").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button_asterisk").Enable = flagTalk;
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button_octothorp").Enable = flagTalk;
        var flagConnect = (value == "Dialing..." || value == "Trying..." || value == "Ringing..." || value == "Talking..."
        || value == "Not Found..." || value == "Not Acceptable..." || value == "Not Available..." || value == "Service Unavailable...");
        IR.GetItem("Page 1").GetItem("Button_cancel").Enable = flagConnect;
        SwitchVideo.Enable = !flagConnect;
        if (value == "Incoming Call...") {
          action = "ANSWER";
          LabelName.Text = SIP.GetFeedback("INCOMING CALL NAME");
          LabelNumber.Text = SIP.GetFeedback("INCOMING CALL NUMBER");
        }
        if (value != "Incoming Call..." && value != "Talking...") {
          action = "CALL";
          LabelName.Text = "---";
          LabelNumber.Text = outdoor_station_number;
        }
        var flagShow = (flagReady || flagConnect || flagTalk);
        LabelName.Visible = flagShow;
        LabelNumber.Visible = flagShow;
      }
    });

    function Talk() {
      SIP.SetFeedback("NUMBER", outdoor_station_number); // when calling number is required
      SIP.Set(action, SwitchVideo.Value);                // call or answer, audio or audio+video
    }

    5 Set the graphic items to interact with the SIP driver and the script.

    Setting a button to open the door

    When a button on a call panel is pressed, a call begins. To open the door, a digital code must be sent, it can be set in the settings of the call panel (default code - “*50”)
    1 Create a new script.
    2 Add the following to it:

    function SIPsendtone1(){
        var SIPdevice1=IR.GetDevice("SIP");
        SIPdevice1.Set("SEND TONE", 10); // send “*”
        SIPdevice1.Set("SEND TONE", 5);// send “5”
        SIPdevice1.Set("SEND TONE", 0);// send “0”
    }

    3 Creatre a button and assign the call of this script to it.
