    Connecting Mobotix T26

    1. Connect PoE to MOBOTIX T26B-6D.
    2. Connect Mobotix to the same local network with iRidium control panel.
    3. A red indicator will be lit in 5-10 seconds. Press the "Light" button.
    4. Then press and hold the "Light" button for at least 2 seconds.
    5. Set MOBOTIX T26B-6D.

    Setting Mobotix T26

    To continue working with Mobotix, the network must be set:

    1. Open Mobotix T-26 web-interface in a browser. Open Mobotix IP-address and enter the admonistrator's login and password.

    2. Click Admin Menu button in the web-interface:

    Mobotix2.png

    3. Open Network Setup section and go to Ethernet Interface:

    Mobotix3.png

    4. Turn off client mode and server mode in the settings or network protocols to enter the address manually. Enter the IP address, the network submask that is available for other used devices.

    Mobotix4.png

    Setting Mobotix T26 SIP intercom

    To make calls between iRidium panels and to call from Mobotix IP-videophone to i3 pro and back, Mobotix SIP-server must be set correctly. To set the work of Mobotix in the modes of SIP-server and SIP-subscriber at the same time, go to the Admin Menu tab in the web-interface:

    Mobotix5.png

    1. SIP Server Settings. Setting Mobotix as a SIP-server

    If another device functions as a SIP-sever, skip it.

    Set Mobotix as a SIP-server and form a list of subscribers:

    1. Open the Audio and VoIP Telephony submenu.

    2. Turn on the SIP-server mode, if this Mobotix intercom will switch calls between subscribers.

    3. Enter Realm: MX_SIP.

    4. Create a require number of SIP subscribers.

    Mobotix6.png

    2. SIP Client Settings. Setting Mobotix as a SIP subscriber

    For Mobotix to make and accept calls it must be set as a SIP subscriber. Here is how to do it:

    1. Open SIP Client Settings.

    2. Enter in the SIP Client Settings that Mobotix is connected as a subscriber to itself as a server.

    3. Turn on Sip Client and set Setup Mode Expert for further setting.

    Mobotix7.png

    4. Create one account in the SIP Accounts. The intercom will be available by the address set in this account.

    Mobotix8.png
    1 - Mobotix SIP server;
    2 - data for SIP client of the Mobotix server.

    5. Enter the address of the SIP server to which Mobotix intercom will be connected (in our case the address of the SIP-server is that same as the address of a subscriber, but it will be different if another devices is used as the server).

    6. Enter data of one of the accounts created earlier in the SIP Server Settings. It is obligatory that this account is first created in SIP Server Settings:

    Mobotix9.png
    1 - Mobotix SIP server;
    2 - data for SIP client of the Mobotix server.

    7. Scroll SIP Client Settings to the bottom, set audio and video to get high quality connection:

    Mobotix10.png

    i3pro can work with all codecs (G.722/PCMA/PCMU/GSM) provided by Mobotix. We recommend using PCMU for stable work or G.722 for better sound quality (only if connection is stable). Use H.264 to broadcast video.

    3. Outgoing Call Settings

    Here the so-called "call-profile" is created where we'll add all subscribers that Mobotix tried to call when the call button was pressed:

    1. Open the Audio and VoIP Telephony submenu.

    2. Click Add new profile to create a new profile.

    3. Add all SIP subscribers, that must be called by pressing a button on the intercom, to a list. SIP Proxy is the address of the Mobotix intercom as a SIP subscribe (a panel, that Mobotix makes a call to, sees this address in the incoming call).

    If there is only one subscriber but for the intercom itself, only it will be in the profile.

    4.Choose Connection type: SIP Video.

    5. Turn on the talk mode: Intercom for 2-way communication.

    6. Click Set, choose a created profile and click Test, to imitate pressing the intercom button.

    7. Choose a period of time after which Mobotix ends conversation during a call.

    Mobotix11.png

    4. Incoming Call Settings

    Set rules for accepting calls by the intercom:

    1. Open the Audio and VoIP Telephony submenu in the Admin menu.

    2. Enter all SIP clients that will make calls to Mobotix (if the field is empty, Mobotix will accept calls from all clients).

    3. Enter all proxi addressed that will make calls to Mobotix (if the field is empty, Mobotix will accept calls from all clients).

    5. Turn on the talk mode: Intercom for 2-way communication.

    5. Set the intercom modes to make calls via Mobotix.

    7. Choose a period of time after which Mobotix ends conversation during a call.

    Setting iRidium Project to Connect i3 pro to Mobotix

    A project is set in several steps:

    1. Setting the SIP driver to connect to Mobotix;
    2. Setting a js script to get video from the cameras and for intercom call buttons to work.

    Setting SIP Driver

    SIP3.png

    1. Host: IP-address of Mobotix SIP server;
    Port: must not be tha same as the number of Mobotix itself as a client;

    2. Password: the password of a SIP subscriber;
    Caller ID: the name of a subscriber;
    SIP ID: the number of a subscriber, the number will be assigned to equipment where the project is launched;
    SIP server: Mobotix T26, Another;

    3. Set used codecs like you set used codecs in Mpbotix settings. Leave the other settings by default, they are set to connect to Mobotix SIP-server. If you use another SIP-server (not Mobotix), the following settings Port, First RTP Port, Last RTP Port can be different.

    </div>

    Seting JS for Mobotix Project

    Open the Script editor and open the following file “Mobotix_DoorPhone_ADD”.

    Mobotix20.png
    1. IP-address of Mobotix (an intercom from which a video stream must be received);
    2. Administrator's login that you use to enter the web-interface of Mobotix intercom;
    3. Administrator's password that you use to enter the web-interface of Mobotix intercom;
    4. SIP-address of the intercom, as a SIP-subscriber (it's descirbed in the Admin menu of the intercom, in the SIP Client Settings submenu).

    Example of a script for three Mobotix IP videophones:

    IR.AddListener(IR.EVENT_START, 0, function()
    {
        var mobotix1 = new add_mobotix_door_phone("Main entrance",
                      "mobotix 1",
                      ["192.168.0.110", "admin", "admin", "101"]
                      );

        var mobotix2 = new add_mobotix_door_phone("Back entrance",
                      "mobotix 2",
                      ["192.168.0.111", "admin", "admin", "102"]
                      );

        var mobotix3 = new add_mobotix_door_phone("Main entrance",
                      "mobotix 3",
                      ["192.168.0.112", "admin", "admin", "103"]
                      );
    });
