Samsung Smart TV

Samsung Smart TV is a module to control Samsung TV-sets of HU/H, JS/JH series.

The module was tested on Samsung TV-sets of HU/H, JS/JH series.

Samsung Smart TV is a module to control Samsung TV-sets of HU/H, JS/JH series. This module can be built in a project (merged with a project) in iRidium studio and comfortably conrol basic functions of TV-sets.

Integration of a Module to Project

We made a project with a remote to control Samsung TV-sets that can be easily merged with Your project.

The module contains:

Visual part:
- "TV_Samsung" page contains control items that look like a TV remote.
- "TV_SamsungPin" popup - to enter PIN;
- "TV_SamsungIP" popup - to enter the IP-address of a TV-set.
SamsungTV driver is a driver with commands and feedback channels for module work.

Working in iRidium studio

The module is integrated in several steps:

1 Create a folder in your project and name it "SamsungTV" and select it to save pages of Samsung module.

2 Open a project with Samsung module and merge it with your own project with the help of drag'n'drop. All items will be moved to the folder you created

3 Create a button in your project and programit to call "Home" page of Samsung module, where a remote is located.

Cloning Driver to Use It on Another Device

To work with one more TV-set of the same series in a project, do the following actions:

1 Clone pages with the visual part (TV_Samsung, TV_SamsungPIN, TV_SamsungIP). Name them "TV_Samsung2", "TV_Samsung2PIN", "TV_Samsung2IP".

The recommended numeration of pages allows the driver to work correctly with several devices.

2 Add the SetPopupTv("SmartTv2") line to the "SmartTv" script;

3 Clone the driver and name it "TV_Samsung2".(The driver name is identical to the page name with a remote for another device).

Connection to Samsung TV-set

Do the following actions for the remote to work:

1 Click the setting button, enter the IP-address in the window that appears

2 Click "Connect" for connection.

3 Enter in the the window that appears PIN that is displayed on the screen of the TV-set.

After it, a remote from Samsung module starts working.

Functions of remote

1 Button to enter IP-address of the TV-set. Connection status is displayed next to it.

It opens a popup to enter IP-address.

2 Connect is a button that opens a popup to enter PIN.

3 Fast access buttons. They provide fast access to certain functions of a TV-set.
