iRidium for Satel
A set of tools to create control interfaces for equipment by Satel.
The documentation was updated on 09.8.2023
Use the following example of a project to learn about driver capabilities:
Description
iRidium for Satel is a set of tools that allows you to create an interface to control the Satel security system.
iRidium for Satel allows a control panel (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac) to connect to INTEGRA devices with SATEL server.
Tested with the following equipment:
- Satel Integra (all versions);
- Satel axd 200 - reed switch 7 in 1;
- Satel Slim DUAL Luna - motion sensor;
- ASW-210 - wireless relay.
Connection
The DloadX configurator is used for preliminary setting of equipment. It is necessary to determine the IDs of zones and exits, add sections and configure the equipment through a direct connection via RS-232.
Import of Group Addressed
Preconfigured commands and feedback channels can be exported from the DloadX application.
To do this, it is necessary to:
1 Launch the DloadX program.
2 Connect to the Satel Integra controller in any convenient way.
3 Click on File > Export/Import > Export names to xml.
4 Open iRidium Studio.
5 On the 'Scanner / Import tab, choose Import Satel XML File.
6 In the window that opens, choose the previously saved file.
Work in iRidium
1 Create a new panel/server project.
2 Open the side panel Devices in the created project and add Satel Integra Network driver to it with the help of Add driver
3 Click the left mouse button on the added Satel driver and add required devices (Add subdevice). All devices are devided into folders according to their type.
4 Enter connection parameters in the settings of the driver, devices, commands and feedback channels.
5 To enable the project to work without entering a password in the iRidium Studio, it is necessary to add a script (example script below). Also need to create a page / popup for password entry with Edit box and input button. A working example can be found in the attached project in the function Main.
IR.AddListener(IR.EVENT_ITEM_PRESS,IR.GetPopup("Password").GetItem("Enter Password"),function()
{
var password = IR.GetPopup("Password").GetItem("Password").Text; // Getting the entered password from the editbox.
IR.GetDevice("Satel Integra Network").SetParameters({Password: password}); // The SetParams function with entering a password in the driver parameters.
IR.Log("Password was change"); // Outputting a message to the log about changing the password.
IR.GetPopup("Password").GetItem("Password").Text = ""; //Clearing the field at the Editbox
})
Setting Connection Parameters
The driver connection settings:
- Protocol - TCP;
- Log Level - logging level of the driver;
- Host - IP address of controller;
- Port - port to connect to the controller (default is 7094);
- Password - password to connect to the controller (created when you connect to the Integra Controll app). It is possible to leave the password field empty. In this case, when the i3 pro is launched, the feedback from the equipment will still be available, but the Integra alarm system will need to be controlled using a scripted method .SetParameters({Password: 1234})
- SSL - type of encryption (Disable, TLS v1.2, SSL v2.3, SSL v3.0);
- Keep Alive - TCP connection check interval. If there is no response to the Keep Alive request, the driver will be forcibly switched to the disabled state. This parameter is designed for correct display of online status in case of emergency or incorrect client disconnection. 0 - disable the setting;
- Update Time - frequency of equipment polling in milliseconds;
- Update Temperature - interval between sending temperature survey packets. The standard value is 400 msec. Increase the value of this parameter, if it is necessary (the value is not recommended below 250 ms). There can be problems with obtaining temperature with a large number of sensors;
- Driver Version - a driver version;
- Integra Version - an integra version, may change when using a different kind of integra.
Device connection settings:
- Name - name of device;
- Driver Type - type of driver (Satel Integra Network);
- Device Type - type of subdevice (Common, Zone, Partition, Output);
- ID - ID of subdevice (not available for Common sub-devices).
Device commands and feedback channels do not have unique setting parameters.
The types of all commands and feedbacks are described below.
Setting Commands and Feedback Channels
To control equipment it is required to set commands (Commands) and feedback channels (Feedbacks). To send a command, drag'n'drop it on a graphic item and enter a value to send. To display a feedback value drag'n'drop a feedback channel on a graphic item and choose how to output a value.
Read more about work with graphic items in the
"Types of graphic items" article.
